About Me

Aged 17. I play rugby league as a hobby. I\'m in year 12 and attend St Mary\'s 6th form college where Im currently studying a level 3 BTEC diploma in performing arts which includes Drama, dance and musical theatre.I love acting and performing, being involved in local shows and small productions at school. Acting is something I really enjoy, and if I had the opportunity would love to pursue this as a career. I played Billy Elliot in a local production through the Billy Youth Theatre in which we performed at Hull new theatre and York opera house where won the opportunity to perform an act in the West End Victoria Theatre. I have performed on stage in school productions and perform regularly in local shows at Hull Truck theatre. When I auditioned for the role of Billy, I had never danced before and had to learn 3 styles of dance for the role within a four month period. I have also played the part of Tony in the show \'West side story\'.

I've sang mostly as leads in musicals such as Billy Elliot, beauty and the beast and west side story which really tested my singing abilitys with songs such as 'Maria' however with a lot of hard work I managed to become a lot more confident with my singing voice.
