At 1.7m of stocky build I am a fit,active and adventurous individual always up for new intellectual and physical challenges (within reason) eg I participate in various charity fundraisers - as a runner, swimmer cyclist and as a musician, where I have organised and played in "jazzathons" and cabarets

Employment History & Experience

Throughout my later years at school and at college I played the functions circuit with occasional jazz gigs. With the development of my career as a chartered accountant and management consultant and with marriage I "retired" the instruments. However, during the past 15 years I have resumed my interest, particularly in small band mainstream jazz, and now perform at charity events, arts festivals and the occasional private or corporate function that require the type of music I enjoy playing.

Throughout my college years I survived financially by playing the WBF (weddings bahmitvahs and funerals) circuit, frequently acting as MC as well as band leader. For the past 20 years I have been playing at charity functions. As a former parliamentary candidate (LibDems) I am accustomed to public speaking.
