About Me

I grew up in a military family, living in different places every couple of years before settling in South Yorkshire/ Nottinghamshire. I have endured 10 years of working in the military as both a fitness instructor and Helicopter Arming Point Commander, before leaving to pursue a career in business management. I've moved between 3 jobs since leaving 1.5 years ago and just cannot seem to find my niche. Every employer I have worked for has complimented me on my ability to blend into teams and as a result I find it really easy to talk to people (It's a gift really, either that or I don't know when to shut up). I can have a sour sense of humor and take great pride in trying to cheer people up (even if they aren't miserable) which can be irritating for them I'm sure. I've always looked at acting and wondered if it would be something I would good at. Just recently I noticed casting for an upcoming film based on the military, I thought ''this could be easy, no acting required as it would seem almost natural''. Little did I know that they needed experienced helicopter pilots, so that put a spanner in the works. I thought I would register to this site and see what it is all about, and if indeed I have what it takes to entertain millions of people. Thank you for reading! Gareth
