About Me
I am a 39-year old woman (though I have no wrinkles/lines and have been told I look a lot younger) who, after my recent experience of being on a TV set for a reality TV show, wants to re-kindle the enjoyment and success I enjoyed in my teens when I was on stage. I am Italian and German, grew up in Luxembourg and now live in the UK (have lived in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and now South Yorkshire - I don't have a distinct regional accent, but have a vaguely 'northern' pronunciation. In Yorkshire, people describe my accent as 'posh'). I speak Italian, German, French and English fluently and also speak a little (rusty) Luxembourgish and Spanish. I love performing and would relish the opportunity for more TV appearances, voice-over work or plus-size modelling. My ultimate dream is to obtain regular work as a TV presenter, particularly if I could combine this with my love of cookery & languages.

Whilst at school (European School, Luxembourg), I was an active member of the German Drama Club.
I had a number of small parts, but the significant parts were:
ca. 1987: One of the lead roles in "Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank" (Anne Frank's Diary). I was Mrs Van Daan. We performed to a sell-out audience for 3 nights in our school's theatre, followed by a sell-out performance at another school and two performances, by request, in the "Theatre des Capucins", one of the major theatres in Luxembourg City. We received some excellent press coverage and critical acclaim for our performances.
ca. 1986: One of the lead roles, as the mother of a mildly dysfunctional family, in our production of "Bei Tisch wird nicht gesprochen (und später erst gar nicht)"
ca 1984: Struwwelpeter's mother in a Struwwelpeter sketch, LIVE on children's TV show RTL Mini-Plus, hosted by Rainer Holbe

• I realise that I am just starting out in a very competitive field. I have been told, during the filming for Britain’s Best Dish and during the casting filming (decision pending) for a BBC3 programme on Body Image, that I work very well to camera and come across as confident and interesting to listen to. I also feel that the skills I have gained as a recruitment company director, teacher and mother have given me an excellent grounding for the kind of work I’m seeking.
