About Me

I’m lively and personable with a strong neutral voice and commanding presence despite my small stature! I have done some amateur theatre, often in lead roles. I’m a good character actor. I am particularly interested in voice acting, voiceover and reading talking books. I speak fluent French and German, and can get by in Spanish. I can assume accents. I am self-employed and therefore flexible in terms of time.

General Experience

I am a teacher by training and experience, and before that was in corporate sales. Both these professions entail getting and holding the attention of an audience, and I have therefore developed a strong presence, but the ability to be a background presence when required. I have been a keen and involved member of amateur theatre groups, and cast in several productions recently, from comedy to tragedy.

Qualifications & Training

I have no formal qualifications in theatre, but have attended training courses on elements of performance such as character development, interpreting Shakespeare and improvisation.

I have relocated to rural Scotland, and therefore am less able to get anywhere quickly, but on the other hand I am quite prepared to travel, and now have the freedom to do so.
