About Me
Since 2010 I have been devising and performing in a workshop environment under the tutelage of Tina Malone. Tina has praised my acting ability highly, especially when playing high intensity dramatic roles. As well as learning from Tina, I have been attending the ‘Acting for Stage and Screen’ and ‘Professional Actors’ courses held at the DNA acting class on Portland Street in Manchester and have just started a new course at Act4TV in Ardwick, Manchester. As well as appearing in several leading and supporting roles in short/independent films, I have also hosted my own radio show on Chorlton FM as part of the Chorlton Arts Festival. In my opinion, learning and development are crucial to my progression as an actor and I am always eager to add new techniques to my repertoire. When given feedback, I listen to constructive criticism as well as acclamation to enable me to continuously improve upon my performance. Before pursuing my dream of becoming an actor I worked in various occupations from Warehouse work with the Royal Mail to office administrator for a leading blue chip company, via being a debt collector for Barclays Bank. The relevance of these experiences can be seen in my performance as I can draw from numerous situations which aide me in adding depth to each character that I play. There is no genre on either stage or film that I am not willing to try and am more than happy to audition for commercials. I would describe myself as a hard working and reliable raw talent with a lot of potential looking for acting experience.
