About Me

I love singing, watching films and going to the theatre as well as being creatively involved in the dramatic arts. I have been involved as a Producer for a series of short films, during which my organisational and time-keeping skills were put into practice. I have enjoyed many aspects of ‘performing arts’, including acting, directing and stage managing, as well as helping with costumes, props and set design (although my art work leaves a little to be desired!) Last year I produced, directed and acted in a brand new play entitled ‘Safe House’ which went up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and received 3 and 4 star reviews. Most recently I have directed 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at Coombeshead College, Devon, with over 70 primary school kids!

I had a presenting module as part of my Screen Acting course at Redroofs Theatre School. I have had experience with interveiws, voxpops, reading from an autocue, and dealing with problems when live on air (which was pretty scary!).

I have performed solo's as part of a choir and chamber choir. I have a classically trained voice but am also suited to pop, jazz, musicals and alternative singing styles. My voice is pure and natural, although I am not a power ballad singer.

As well as anything to do with the dramatic arts, I like computer games, writing, reading, doing puzzles such as Sudoku, socialising with friends, good food and drink, travelling, and sleeping!
