My acting experience mainly comes from Youth work and Youth Theatre projects. When I was 18, I performed at the National Theatre in a festival of new plays, as the lead role in Dennis Kelly's Young Connections project, DNA (DeoxyriboNucleicAcid), after competing at a national level to perform the play in London. I have taken part in several youth projects, including the CultureShock festival, and more recently, a project called Gone in Sixty Seconds, which has received small media attention, due to the fact it is performed both in Yorkshire and in New York as a series of one minute plays. I studied for my Drama and English degree for three years, which has given me a lot of acting experience. I have featured as an extra in several student films during my time at university. I have taken part in various performances, ranging from musical (Our Day Out, Little Shop of Horrors), to dramatic (Nicholas Nickelby, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui). I was also part of the children's chorus in the Harrogate Theatre pantomime, Babes in the Wood.

On an unpaid basis, I have been asked to model for catwalk, art shots, and fashion student portfolios. The shot taken of me for one of the students entered a River Island photo competition, and was the winner for that year.

I have taken my grade five singing exam with merit, along with grades one, three, and four. I was part of a rock band for a short time in high school, fronting the band and performing upon occasions. I often sang solo in musical performances, and practise my singing on a regular basis to keep it at performance level. I have recorded material due to appear on a friend's CD at some point in the future.

My dancing experience is mainly at chorus level, in Our Day Out, Little Shop of Horrors, a musical 'Enchanted Kingdom', based on Disney songs, and I studied the course for GCSE dance.

GCSE Drama: Grade B
Second Class (Lower Division) BA (Hons) in Drama with English Literature.
Grades 1, 3, 4 and 5 singing examinations. Passed with merit.
