Employment History & Experience

I started my acting experience off officially at a youth theatre amature group called "New Youth Theatre Lincoln" but before hand I had done work on my GCSE's at Secondayr school creating my own little acting pieces based on a certain phrase or image. my first part of experience in acting at "New Youth Theatre" was in my first role in "Bugsy Malone" of "Knuckles" and then from there on I got more confident after that show and when it came round to the next one which was "Copacabana" I got a role of "Sam Silver". The other shows I had been in and there roles are as follows; "Annie-Rooster","13-Brett","Guys and Dolls-Nicely Nicely Johnson","Oklahoma-Ali Hakim","Grease-Doody", "West Side Story-Action", "Fiddler on the Roof-Lazar Wolf", "The Sound Of Music- Mr Vontrap". I then did have some experience going from the seniors of that group to "The Next stage" part for over 18's and auditioned for their "Into the Woods" version and got the role of the "Mysterious Man", I worked on the character to fully flesh him out and get the comedic element out of the character, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to theatre issues being closed down. I have had even more acting experience from my College course at Lincoln college which I have just recently finished and Have had a chance in my first year there to work in a short film with Lincoln University students, which I did, the film was called "The Arenburg Affect" and I played one of the two assistants too the Professor who were very odd and almost brain washed liked. I Performed a small role in my college first year as a police officer at the end of a Monty Python Skit. In the first year I Worked with a group of people there to work on our own acting piece which was based around "Survival Skills", when coming to talk about creatures and monsters. It was a fun thing to do and I helped our director write it. The second year at the college, I worked in with my class mates to perform a small show for two primary schools, teaching the kids about responsibility, It was called "Polly Purr's Adventure", I portrayed a young kid in the class called "Billy" who was the sort of bully character/tough guy. I also performed as "Giles Corey" in our colleges production of "The Crucible". And in my last performance at the college, I Portrayed Three characters in "Made In Dagenham", My two main ones being "Mr Tooley" and "Mr Buckton", with my third character being a supporting role as a cameraman with a few lines.
