About Me

Having recently completed my Masters in Music Performance degree at Cardiff University, I am committed to a professional career as a freelance performer. Having performed regularly in orchestras from the age of ten, I bring over a decade of experience and passion to every performance I give. A seasoned orchestral musician, I have performed extensively in Wales and England and for international audiences in Germany and China.

I am a self-motivated individual, using my organisational skills in curating Concerts, managing and directing multiple ensembles, and leading music workshops for primary school children. Having studied studio technology for three years at University, I also produce studio compositions and perform as a session musician for others.

2016- Present: Cellist and Manager of The Claret String Quartet. The ensemble performed at functions and charitable events, and were invited to perform at Xiamen University, China, in February 2017.

2014 - Present: Cello Tutor at Gwyendd & Môn Music Service.

Experience:
Cello: Regularly perform in orchestras nationally, member of London-based Young Musician's Orchestra and former member of National Youth Orchestra of Wales. Appointed Principal Cellist for the following groups; Cardiff University Symphony and Chamber orchestras, Contemporary Music Group, Cello Ensemble and the North Wales Camerata. I'm a varied musician, having accompanies the Bangor Cathedral Choir and performed at Brecon Jazz Festival, I perform a variety of genres.

Singing: Received singing lessons by Welsh Tenor, Rhys Meirion. Experienced in choral singing and in 2018 recorded lead vocals for Uzbeck band 'W- Double You' for their latest EP.
