About Me

Born and raised in South London, I have gravitated towards music from a very young age. Possessing a musical theatre background and raised in a household where my father worked as a part-time DJ, a mother who sung in the church and an elder sibling who plays the keyboard, I have managed to have a strong admiration and passion for music of all genres, particularly RnB, Soul and Pop music.
I grew up listening to Gospel Artists such as Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and Kirk Franklin as well as RnB artists such as Luther Vandross, Maxwell, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and more recently, artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, NeYo and Bruno Mars. I also admired Broadway singers such as Julie Andrews.
As a teenager, I did several photo-shoots for Models Connect, where I worked as a commercial model for a few years.
After performing at numerous Open Mic events and becoming a Showcase Winner at the Regional Finals of the well-known Open Mic UK 2017 competition, I developed an urge to start songwriting. I aim to create music that has the ability to transcend to a wide range of people and enjoys singing songs that make the audience relate to the lyrics. My current single \'Only You\', although an up-tempo electronic dance and feel-good song, can relate to those who care very deeply about their spouse and currently has over 100,000 streams on Spotify. I not only have the ability to sing up-tempo songs, but slower ballad songs where I am able to pour out my emotions through the words - therefore having the belief that a good singer should be able to sing multiple genres of music.
I would love the opportunity to perform onstage every night and connect with the audience. I am a hardworker and I understand the importance of working on your craft on a daily basis, which is something that I am dedicated to doing. I have faced a lot of rejection trying to make it into the industry and I truly believe that I have the potential to become a worldwide sensation. I am looking for the right opportunity which will enable me to grow as an artist.
