About Me

Having recently moved back to Oxfordshire after 10 years in Devon, I am really committed to trying to make this work for me as a job.

I love film and theatre, and would be thrilled to have the chance to be involved in any capacity.

I have just registered with the Open University to undertake a degree in English, and extra work would fit in really well with my studies (which start in October).

I have recently completed a short course in acting (evening classes). We had a performance at the end of the course where I performed a scene from "Our Country's Good". I played Mary Brenham, but with a Dublin accent. The audience was small but I had lots of very good feedback from them and the drama teacher.

I much enjoyed this experience and would love the opportunity to do more.

Next week I take part in the second day of filming in a Student production at The Park University, Cheltenham. I will do more of this in order to gain experience.

I have also registered with A1 Casting at Elstree today in the hope of gaining some real experience (and pay!).

I have no other relevant experience in this profession at present.

Qualifications & Training

I was educated at school to 'O' Level standard. After this I trained as a veterinary nurse and then clinic manager.

Relevant Skills

My skills are under development, but I will continue with my acting course and learn what I can from it. My single performance was, as I said earlier, well received.

Interests & Hobbies

I love watching good drama on TV, as well as comedy. I enjoy the cinema and theatre too.
