Employment History & Experience

I studied music at university and have been involved in many different productions in music and performance art. I've recorded around 20 records with different groups and solo efforts and have performed to small and large audiences a festivals, convert venues, pubs/clubs, galleries and charity/wedding events. I've been involved in a couple of small-scale music videos along the way as well. I perform solo, from experimental/noise music, to a series of ballads I composed a few years back. I also play in several bands and have been in 100+ acts over the past 15 years, singing, playing drums, guitars/bass, piano/keys, violin and sax, as well as various instruments, including some I've built.

Employment History & Experience

I worked on an episode of Hornblower 15 years ago. I was French infantry. We had to do rifle work, sword fighting and marching. It was great fun and I've always thought about doing more extras work.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I've worked in coffee shops, as a care worker and, for the past 6 years, as an English teacher. I'm now looking for work in museums as an explainer on Cutty Sark for example, but would like to take this break in my career as a chance to do some extras work, as I enjoyed it so much on the one occasion I tried it before.

Qualifications & Training

I'm qualified as a care-worker and as an English teacher. I completed part of a degree in music, but am currently working towards completing the BA through the Open university.

Other Information

Relevant Skills

I'm confident working in front of a camera or an audience. I can memorise lines and parts quickly. I take direction well. I think these would be valuable qualities as an extra.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy reading and writing, music and performing, theatre,story telling, mythology, film, traveling and languages, history, gaming (especially board games), museums and galleries, star-gazing. Hiking and the country-side, sailing and maritime activities.
