About Me
Back in November 2015, I was approached by a film producer by way of my school. I was auditioned alongside professional actors for a film part and was successful in being offered a full cast member role. I was cast, as I was happily told, due to ‘my excellent amateur acting abilities and great voice’. This was a Film 4 movie, produced by Momac films ltd. Whilst on set after shooting various scenes, I was approached yet again by other producers, commenting on my voice. I am now awaiting contact from them for further projects. In the meantime, I thought it best to seek an agent and get involved in more projects.
When I was younger, I didn't really consider myself as having a strong passion for the performing arts, however, when I joined my senior school, I met two teachers who saw something in me; one being my Drama master and the other my English teacher. My Drama master was drawn to my natural speaking voice, due to its deep and powerful resonance, along with my extended use of vocabulary. He was impressed by my general stature, which for some reason he believed made me stand out from my peers. This led to me being cast in many school performances over the last five years. I was also a major part of the extended Drama program at my school. My English teacher was also drawn to my voice and my quiet but "dominant" demeanour (as she'd put it). This led to her putting me forward for a BBC funded project, where I interviewed the then Prime Minister, David Cameron and Lord Sebastian Coe. During the last five years I’ve also been approached by several different choirs to sing bass as they insist it is not often to hear such a deep, baritone sound.
Due to my deep and resonating voice I have been approached by several people, commenting on its power and its uniqueness.
Having been in a film I confess that I now have a strong passion for acting and voice over work. I have always been an avid film buff and it is only now I realise that I wish to be a part of the many projects that I once looked upon as being out of my reach. I’m a tenacious, hardworking person and now that I’ve put my mind to working towards this career path, I intend to see it through. I refuse to let these opportunities go to waste.
