Employment History & Experience
I am currently studying AS Drama and Theatre Studies at Rochdale Sixth Form College along with 3 other AS Levels (Maths, Further Maths and ICT). I am preparing to do a duologue exam and a group piece exam to finish off the AS Level, which I am predicted to get a C at overall. During high school I was involved within two musicals. The first was “Guys and Dolls” which essentially was the building block for my love of musical theatre. With no past experience of singing or acting before this I managed to get the role of Sky Masterson. The year after I auditioned for the musical “Grease” and gained the role of Kenickie. Both musicals were performed for primary schools on two days and then performed over a spread of 3 nights. Two weeks after starting my AS levels the auditions for the college musical “Little Shop of Horrors” started. I auditioned for the part of Seymour and contested against two others for the role. I won the right to play Seymour through a monologue of the character and a song of my choice, which was “Cry me a River” by Michael Buble. After 7 months of intense rehearsals the show was ready to put on and we performed over 3 amazing nights. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of doing this musical and is the best memory I have up to this date. The audience commented on how professional the acting, singing and overall performance was and were blown away by it.

Employment History & Experience
I regularly visit my local club for karaoke nights where I sing a mixture of songs as I enjoy singing. I have sang in front of audiences at high school and college and also been to the Rochdale Youth Festival of Performing Arts Contest where I received a Highly Commended certificate in the Pop section. Most of my family enjoy singing and I like to think I have picked up my love for singing through my mum who is a great singer.
