About Me
I am a 31 year old male, with a beard, balding/shaved head, tattooed on my arms and hands, I have my ears stretched, once at a size of 32mm but since having a family around 18mm, I tend not to wear them anymore, although I have plugs and tunnels at my current size.
I have recently completed 6 days as a chaperone with my 4 month old daughter on 'Starz' 'The White Princess' the hours were comparable to those of a standard extra.
I am a musician, I play bass guitar and drums, bass guitar at a professional standard and it is how I make my living. I play drums to what I would consider intermediate and acceptable for TV/Film work. My bass playing would be studio quality.
I live in South Wales and would consider work all over the UK, my function band play internationally so I am used to being away from home.
I am looking for work in any capacity, I would consider any line of extra/acting work although I have never acted in front of a camera. My wife and I were featured on a programme called 'Get Me To The Church' that followed my groomsmen and I being placed in the Sahara Desert with the intention of getting back to the wedding within 3 days. The aforementioned program sometimes took multiples retakes and repeated reactions, alongside genuine reactions. The show was shown on UKTV's 'W' formally 'Watch' but didn't grasp a large audience.

Experience & Qualifications
General Experience
I have had varied jobs throughout my life, mainly centred around customer service at an insurance company and more recently as a carer for adults with learning difficulties, I entered a Social Work degree firstly through an access course then on to Swansea University for their Social Work BSc, although after a year of study, despite doing well academically, I found the practical placement too intense and decided to throw myself into my musical career, in doing so the band has become very successful and now all 4 of us play music full-time. My time in Social Work, care and customer service have moulded me into a person centred individual and I now feel I can understand the importance of other people's duties in their job, an example of which was when on set with my daughter having to wait a full morning before being called onto set, instead of becoming anxious and frustrated, I remained calm knowing that everyone else on set had jobs to do before getting to us.

Other Information
Relevant Skills
As previously mentioned I work well with people, whether it be with a frustrated client or within a group of peers.
I run the booking/management of the current band I am in, which entails dealing directly with clients and trying to develop their occasions and discussing financial information.
I am not easily intimidated, I can put forward my opinions, I am confident, yet know my place and respect those giving orders/guidance.
Interests & Hobbies
I enjoy mountain biking (downhill), cinema, studying the methods behind large TV/Film productions, sound engineering, photography, playing music.
I would not call myself athletic, although I am able to maintain stamina whilst mountain biking and I am also an adequate skater on either rollerblades or on ice, I have been a referee in Roller Derby and I can ice skate to an intermediate level, once attending an ice hockey practice, due to there being no permanent ice rink near my home I was unable to attend regularly. I own my own rollerblades and ice skates and pads.
I played rugby in school, at the time I was a second row although now my stature would render me as a prop.
I enjoy seeing new places, my daughter's extra work took me to some wonderful places, a couple of sets on farms, castles and studios. My job takes me to wedding venues/manor houses/exhibition centres all over the country and is one of my main reasons to stay within my job, so travelling to the farthest parts of the country for a day or longer appeals to my personality.
Miscellaneous Information
My current job has unusual hours in comparison to the usual 9-5, I work the occasional weekday (Monday-Thursday) then every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The functions we play at mainly fall at night and I have reliable stand-ins for dates I cannot attend due to other commitments. I feel that this would make me a reliable extra as I can arrange a replacement for myself last minute in order to attend a shoot.
As mentioned previously I am willing to consider any type of role in any circumstance, I have not considered any progression within TV/Film but would do so if needed.
