About Me

My name is Connor Paganini, i am 17 years old and i have been commited to acting for 5 years now, it is what my heart loves to do. I have been inspired to act by many people, especially Joaquin Phoenix who in my opinion is the best actor in the world. His performance in 'Gladiator' is what inspired me the most to become an actor. Some other actor's who have inspired me are Ray Winstone, Forest Whitaker, Robert Di Nero, Sean Bean, Tamer Hassan, Matthew Fox, and many others. I enjoy emotional acting the most as i find it easy to cry on the spot and show different emotions. I recently joined the Miskin Theatre in Dartford, Kent where i am currently on a three year course. I managed to get the main part in my first show there which i was over the moon with. I did hours and hours every day of character study, this is something i love to do (character study) i want to explore my character as much as i can. I also tend to stay in character alot, i find this helps a great deal. I have applied for a Summer acting school in August 2011 with the organization "Act2Cam" where i will be trained by professionals from the Central School of Speech and Drama. I am really looking foward to this because i am going with my brother James who is also an actor, it will be an amazing experience. My dream is to make it as an actor and i hope to one day be able to perform in films which inspires people and for them to look at my performance and believe my character.

My first real experience in acting was taking part in some short student films, they were filmed with profesional cameras and i really enjoyed being infront of the camera. I then joined the Miskin Theatre in Dartford where i am currently on a three year course. I got the lead role of Jim in my first theatre play called 'Chatroom'. I have applied for a Summer acting school in August 2011 with the organization "Act2Cam" where i will be trained by professionals from the Central School of Speech and Drama.
