About Me

I am a professional historical interpreter, musician, archaeologist and expert in historical and baroque saddlery. I took formal acting training from the Manchester Metropolitan school of theatre and have worked in a number of historical documentaries as both background cast and some speaking work. My day job is an archaeological consultant, specialising in reconstruction of artefacts, costumes and material culture for educational purposes and I also work for English Hertage, the National Trust and other museums in teaching children and adults about Prehistoric, and early historic life using a variety of replica artefacts.
I am also an expert in lithics and prehistoric tools and in the reproduction of a variety of musical instruments from the past.
I have my own Spanish horses which are trick trained and I fit and measure horses for historical tack for jousting, roman riding, side saddle etc and I undertake jousting and horse archery myself.
