All about Me?! Born singing Claire Jane Lambert is on the planet - Ok a happy soul then... And after half my life lived, I am finally \\\'with\\\' husband again....So I can be Claire Jane Exelby too!
I have not yet done what I was put here for and which I always dreamt about... Not since, I packed my suitcase, strapped with.. my fave Habitat red and white chair and my green desk lamp too...And left home at just 16...(Well I was the only sibling left there too!)...On foot, Coach bound to London Victoria, with my father shouting \\\'Get a job in Victoria so you can commute\\\', ha as if!... I was to be sponsored by the best Stage School in the Capital, but this was clearly in my head. Alas even the couple of years spent at \\\'The Mary Underwood Prep and Theatre School\\\' did not cut it....(Well, The Education Authority inspected it twice, which was the only time I had a timetable...They did actually shut it down and just as I had turned 15!) I sang, I tapped, I played many characters in improvisation, we went places and did shows....I recall, Mr Spillers, Theatre Manager then at the Hazlitt Theatre, during rehearsals, shouted excitedly \\\'take the mike away, wow I can hear her sing at the back of the Theatre!....(Bright Eyes by Watership down, not a dry eye on the night - excluding my mother who said \\\'Totally the wrong song for you darling\\\') I was also the Compare for all this show, for I also have, it seems, one of those \\\'rubber faces\\\' or faces of many. I can also Mimic all different kinds of characters, voices or accents too..My husband says its like living with all the creature comfort characters under one zoo..He does like \\\'date\\\' night though as he gets to choose! (not the creature..The French Woman for example) If I were to pick just one of many, it would be comedy TV, Show or Radio, a little wacky like Smack The Pony, mini Comedy Sketches Galore. I did do a weekly acting class at Pinewood too. SO...Now I am done raising my boys single handedly, lost my long career & job, even managed to lose our home and London not an option any more...Iv\\\'e started again!...My new blank canvass, must have the horizon line out to Sea and a hut where I can work on and work at.. what I desire to do. Any opportunity for a newbie starting now? I come with a shed load of life experience, a great smile, a great laugh, an attractive English Pear shaped Comely lady, mum, wife, woman in business and talented too with a desire to ensure I am no longer creatively unfulfilled - I think Iv\\\'e written an essay sorry.
