About Me

I’m a character actor. Playing age range, 35-55. Flexible in the type of roles from musicals (ambition to 'do' La Cage'). hard-nosed working class (Full Monty, Green Street) to military (all ranks), 'posh', effete, camp and suave (e.g. ‘Henry Pulling’). I'm a tenor and I dance. On stage and film I’m also specifically drawn to characters with neurological & psychological disorders, e.g. the role of R.M. Renfield (Dracula) and I'm particularly adept at characters with PTSD (shell-shock) and generalised anxiety disorder. My accent is has an eloquent northern edge. I'm a northerner and I can slip easily into 'broad northern' (including Yorkshire, North East & East Midlands - Derby/Nottingham). I can comfortably speak RP.
