About Me
Liverpool actress Chloe Jane has been acting since she was 10 years old. She starting dancing at the young age of 3, which made her fall in love with performing. Despite her not still being a dancer, it was the inspiration that made Chloe want to become an actress. As soon as Chloe hit high school she joined the drama club and was involved in every school performance from Christmas Concerts to Summer musicals including playing Miss Hannigan in Annie and Rizzo in Grease. Chloe Jane has shown her versatility from showing her classical training through playing Ariel in 'The Tempest' (2017), showing her Musical theatre training by playing the character Nancy in 'Oliver!' (2016). She has also showcased her adaptability to many different roles as she has played Emily in The Seven Acts of Mercy (2018), a tory MP then played a sex-mad wife of an officer called Maggie in Woyzeck (2018); two completely different roles and ways of directing that she managed to adapt to and succeed. Chloe was trained in Musical Theatre throughout her sixth form education and decided to choose to study Acting at Liverpool Media Academy as she felt she needed more training on the Acting side of things; she also wanted to expand her knowledge of the craft. However, Chloe is still an avid Musical Theatre fan; even though not particularly skilled in dancing, her acting and singing ability is advanced. Chloe graduated from Liverpool Media Academy (Staffordshire University) with an Upper Second Class BA (Hons) Degree [2:1] in July 2019 and thus being the end of Chloe's extensive 5 years of training. The focus of her technique has influence from Stanislavski, Meisner, Brecht and predominantly Ivana Chubbuck. Her time at Liverpool Media Academy and Alsop High School sixth form has included mentoring from industry professionals such as Mike Neary, Jackie Downey, Stephen Graham, James Baker, Dave Kirkby, Andrew Scholfield, Paul Duckworth, Gillian Hardie and Scot Williams.
