Employment History & Experience

I worked for a few months as a Volunteer in my Local Hospital Radio Station (Coastway Hospital Radio - Royal Sussex County), this was unpaid volunterr work but the skills I learnt there were invaluble. I got to grips with the technical side of the station, learnt how to present my own show and actively participated in talking to and contacting the patients for the shows. All of which I thoroughly enjoyed and found really interesting.

General Experience

I have participated in many extra-curricular activities during college and University, such as St John's Ambulance Firts Aid, BBC Schools Question Time, Young Enterprises, Front of House for USSU and volunteering in Girl Guides which may not be directly linked to experiences within presenting or acting, however all of these things have taught me practical skills, communication skills and working as part of a team which can be applied to any job.
I feel that in order to relate to people and to communicate effecticely in various types of media, you need to have had experiences in the world which makes you understanding and interesting.
Participating in a broad range of activities enabled me to understand what I aspects of those I really enjoy, and how I can use those skills to communicate with others.
