I am a soon to be Drama and Performance graduate, and I am very interested in being involved in any occupations relevant to my acting and singing skills.

I plan to stay in the Midlands area when completing my degree.

Throughout my school, college and university years, I have been involved in many different plays and musicals, taking on lead roles in many of these, such as Tallulah in Bugsy Malone, Alice in Vinegar Tom and Holly in The Wedding Singer.

Additionally, I have recently taken part in a professional production of The Little Shop of Horrors, taking on the role of Crystal. This gave me a feel of a professional performance, and required frequent rehearsals. It also resulted in my confidence growing regarding my singing and acting to large audiences.

My current degree in Drama and Performance has provided me with experience and skills in acting and drama, which I can carry to new roles and opportunities.

I have sung at a professional role from a very young age, involving regular, paid gigs at functions such as weddings and parties, and festivals. I took part in sining lessons throughout my school years, and I am an experienced Jazz, Blues and Pop lead vocalist. I completed my grade 5 in singing at the age of 13.

I also have experience in teaching singing lessons to individuals.

Voluntary work (Ghana, during my gap year)
Before attending university, I decided to take a gap year and was in Ghana for 6 months. I taught English and Maths to primary school children and also took part in travelling and visiting other parts of the country.

PERFORMANCE
Iridescent Bass (Latin/jazz band) and Lonesome George (blues/pop band)
Lead vocalist - I have been singing professionally for many years, performing regular, paid gigs and festivals around the country.

Various percussion & vocalist - I have been involved in many samba gigs including parades & concerts. I have also lead workshops for primary school children.

Throughout my years at school, I have performed in many different plays and musicals, including lead roles such as Tallulah in Bugsy Malone and Alice in Vinegar Tom.

University (Loco) productions
I am part of the musical theatre society at my university, which has given me the opportunity to sing, act and dance in various musicals and in various roles. I recently performed as Holly in The Wedding Singer. My university course also allows me to take part in many different performance pieces.

Other theatre work
I took part in a production of Little Shop of Horrors over the Summer of 2012, playing the part of Crystal. We had a short rehearsal period of two weeks, and then performed the show from Wednesday to Sunday at Malvern Theatres, receiving many positive reviews.
