About Me

I am a professional freelance archaeologist with experience in extra work for music videos and television. In my spare time I oversee a medieval reenactment group which provides living history and combat displays for a variety of Heritage sites and events. I am experienced with medieval weaponry and have my own cloth kit, armour, swords, shields etc.
I am motivated and professional and have transport (motorbike) in the event that travel is required.

I have been a professional archaeologist for 20 years working for some of the largest companies in the country. I have been involved in crowd funded excavations where social media plays an essential role. During this time regular videos were made where I was required to interact with archaeologists and present my thoughts and findings to a video camera. The recording have a 'Time Team' approach. In additional I have been involved with many episodes of Time Team. although not in a speaking role.

I have been involved in the production of a music video, based on a medieval theme and was one of the medieval camp/extras in the television series Time Crashers.

General Experience

I enjoy the outdoors and have participated in long distance walks for charity (camping rough) such as the Pennine Way and Hadrians Wall. I am motivated and relaible and flexible when it comes to hours and times.
