General Experience

I am an experienced professional and versatile actor and a member of Equity and Spotlight. I am willing to attempt any theatrical role or part. I have a professional approach to my work, being punctual and supportive to others.

I am over 6 feet tall with a slim body and distinguished greying hair. I am able to perform in most types of theatre including traditional theatre as well as improvised scenarios and interactive street theatre. I am well-spoken and can use a wide range of British accents. As well as acting, my skills also include the ability to sing and to dance. I am an experienced ballroom dancer specialising in Latin American field. I am also very confident in public speaking and making presentations.

My acting specialisms are in character acting and comedy. I have previously worked with several professional theatre groups in the West Midlands. As a student at University of Birmingham and West Midlands College, I gained extensive experience of various theatre and improvised drama work including street theatre. I also performed at several theatre festivals including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

I have also been previously engaged as Redcoat with Butlin’s. My duties included working with a team to prepare and deliver entertainment shows on a regular basis as well as organising activities for adults and children. My personal qualities include excellent inter-personal skills, an out-going personality and friendly disposition. I am flexible and adaptable to changing situations and a supportive team-worker. I also have very good spoken and written communication skills.

Relevant Skills

Extensive experience of working in the professional theatre, particularly in comedy. Traditional stage theatre as well as improvised and interactive theatre. I have performed in several Murder Mystery events over the past 8 years, playing a wide range of characters including the murderer, victim, police inspector and a wide range of weird and wacky characters. As a former Butlin's Redcoat I was able to develop my skills of stand-up comedy and hosting variety shows. I have also acted in several films and TV dramas including 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Doctors'

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy hill-walking, ballroom and Latin American dancing, keeping fit, theatre and cinema, writing and reading. I also watching most sports.
