Employment History & Experience

The first production I was involved in was a Peter Gordon play entitled 'Murdered to Death' . The play was an Agatha Christie spoof and it involved perfecting our comic timing to make the script work in the way it was intended. We attracted an audience of over 500 on our opening night. My role was to play a cockney who at the start of the play was posing as a French conman trying defraud an elderly lady of her possessions. It challenged me to do two accents and also create the air of a criminal.
My second production was of 'Night of the Iguana' by Tennessee Williams at Liverpool's prestigious Unity Theatre. I played Hank, the bus driver, and I had to perfect an American accent for the role. This role also had a strong comedy element to it, as Hank had had to placate a lot of impatient tourists waiting for their bus journey to continue.
