About Me

Hey!
Performance is my passion, and all I've ever really wanted to do:-)
I started musical theatre and singing from a young age and have since played parts including Munkustrap in Cats, Brat in Whistle down the wind and Ruth in Pirates of Penzance. I also performed in King and I at the Bristol Hippodrome. Previously I was successful in my audition for West End Kids in London and BMYP in Bristol. I have taken both my grade 4 and 5 musical theatre exams and received a distinction in both.

Singing is something i absolutely adore and have taken part in many talent competitions, including somerset4talent - A competition for a place at glastonbury festival in which I placed runner up.
I am interested in every aspect of performance and presenting, and would love to take part in more!!

For my age I have had a lot of experience with acting as I have taken on many challenging roles with require so much thought and acting with great conviction. For example, Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, Brat in Whistle Down the Wind, Munkustrap in Cats, Sour Kangeroo in Seussical as part of Weston Operatic Society. I also have received 3 David Beech somerset fellowship of drama nominations where I won best under 16 female. I have taken my grade 4 and 5 musical theatre exams where I received distinctions in both, and 97/100 in my grade 4. I have had experience days at Sylvia Young theatre school and previously was successful in my audition for West End Kids.

I have taken part in musicals since the age of 10 where I've taken on largely singing based roles such as Munkustrap in Cats, and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls where I took on Adelaides Lament. I have also participated in many competitions, such as somerset4talent- a competition for a place at glastonbury festival in which I came runner up. Also, I have also competed in many singing festivals. I am also part of a girl band, known as Lyra and we have began to take part in many local gigs and are a largely acoustic and harmonic band. I have just received a distinction star in my GCSE performing arts.

I am currently preparing for my grade 4 Jazz exam. I have taken part in 'Chorus line' in Bristol and 'Crazy for you' in Weston as a Follies girl- both shows require large elements of dance including tap and show dance. I previously have had street dance lessons as this is one of my stronger dancing aspects.
