About Me
I am an Enthusiastic creative, conscientious and shrewd person with the ability to work individually or in a group. I have an active life which enables me to interact and network with many people from many different backgrounds. Very outgoing I find it easy to get along with my peers and anyone who I meet. Also I find it easy to speak out and get my point across or present my ideas. I feel I am a great leader and great communicator and as much as I can argue my point I can also listen to others. I am trust worthy and reliable and that is what has enabled me to achieve what I have done so far.

Employment History & Experience
I have presented a couple of internet TV shots for a website called Freshbox TV. One was based on a community picinic within Liverpool, which was all about breaking down the barriers within communties. The Other was a live question time type show. This show used the subject of Hate Crime as a discussion point.
I have also presented a stort documentary for the BBC. The doumentary is availble on their website. This was based around the MOBO Awards being held in Liverpool for 2010. I orgnaised for them to hold their awards in the Echo arena for that year.

General Experience
•MOBO Campaign (Nov 09 – Oct 10): In 09/10 I ran a campaign to bring the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards to Liverpool for their 2010 celebrations. The prestigious awards have previously been shown on Channel 4 and the BBC. I ran a facebook group, co-ordinated local press and liaised with the directors of MOBO and officials in Liverpool City Council and ACC.
I worked on a number of MOBO initiatives on the lead up to the main event. In total the Awards brought over £5 million into the local economy.
•Merseyside Police (Jul 2009 – Sept 09): In late September 2009 I was part of a team consisting of people from the police and Liverpool Youth Service. We organised an event called “Join A Team Not A Gang”. The event was targeted at young people and was a way of promoting positive activities to them. On the day we had over 3500 people attend the event. I was actively involved in the marketing of the event.
In April 2010 myself and a number of the organizers we commended by Merseyside Police for all our effort. The award was special as general members of the public are not normally commended.
•Anthony Walker Foundation (March 07 – Present): I have been working with the AWF since 2007. Working on their annual festival on operations to taking part in their young ambassadors program which leads us on a trip to Poland to visit the Auschwitz memorial museum as part of a Hate Crime project. In
June 2010, I organised press interviews for a graffiti project that was taking place as part of the AWF’s agenda. I am currently organising a project for the foundation that involves a clothing line to bring another source of income into the foundation.
•Café Group (Oct 09 – Apr 10): Formerly known as the Creative Café. We used to organise open mic nights for young people. Now that we have rebranded and altered the objectives of the group we have turned it into a self sustainable social enterprise. We offered our services or business and other groups to hire. They could hire out our equipment such as stage and PA, or event management services. Café group did not succeed and was wrapped up as a company.
•Liverpool Youth Service: I have volunteered for many activities and events that Liverpool Youth Service has provided. A major one was based in the Echo Arena & BT Convention Centre. Whilst in that role I carried out stage management duties. I have and still sit on their funding panels in which we decide who receives funding to provide youth activities and projects. I recently organised a celebration event for one of their projects called “Health Mates”.
•PaverSmith (April 09 – May 09): PaverSmith is also a Liverpool based Public Relations Company. I worked on their Learning Skills Council account which involved assisting the event manager. I completed tasks such as data collection, and hospitality duties on the day of the events.
•Fire Management (Nov 08 / Apr 09): Fire Management is a Liverpool based Public Relations Company. I have worked on some of their big accounts such as the MTV European Music Awards - Pre Party. Also the World Vision Sponsor A Child Campaign. At these events I carried out general campaign duties which included looking after guests and VIP’s and getting the general public involved.
•Mersey Travel (Sept 08 – Present): I volunteered to help out in their fashion show and also took part in a training event that they provided to help bring generations together. Still work on ad-hoc basis.
•Clapper Board UK (Oct 08 – Nov 08): I regularly volunteered for Clapper Board, helping to organise their events. Although I do not volunteer for them as much I still keep in touch with the Director and other staff.
•Shorefields Student Council (Sept 03 – May 08): I was actively involved in the Student Council in my secondary school and took the role of Chair. We implemented changes that affected the students in the school. We managed to shorten the school day. One of the biggest issues we talked was the waste ground opposite the school. A core group of us consulted with residents, students and potential user groups. We then had the waste ground developed into a state of the art all weather sports facility.
•Dingle Community Learning Programme (July 03 – Present): I am on the management committee of this organisation and advise the group on the issues they may face when working with young people. I also help them with the organising of activities for young people. In the past we have organised fund raising activities such as a community car wash.
•L8 Youth Forum (July 03 – August 09): I set up this organisation with other like minded young people. It was set up to organise activities for young people. Also to reduce the amount of anti-social behavior in the area and promotes the voices of the young people. I carried out tasks such as writing funding bids and applying for funds, writing letters and replying to correspondences, organising the activities for the young people.
