About Me

I am currently a student at Stratford-upon-Avon college studying acting and I really enjoy it. I finish my college course in June 2011, and by completing the course I will have received the qualification in: BTEC national diploma in performing arts acting; which is the equivalent to three A levels.
I am currently a member/ creator of a new theatre company called "Tilted Theatre Company" which is made up of a group of 10 students; in which we have devised a piece of theatre and are touring in various cities in february 2011.
I enjoy every aspect of acting and I am hoping to make it in the business professionally.

•Worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company for the "young peoples shakespeare week," in which i was a member of the front of house team
•Performed in Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” at the Solihull Arts complex; played the lead role of Juliet
•Played the lead in an educational video highlighting the issue of bullying, aimed at children ages 10-14 which was distributed to all schools in Coventry
•Took part in a devised piece of theatre called “The Chalk Door” which was performed at the Belgrade theatre in Coventry
•Played a part in the play “We Will Rock You” which was performed in Nuneaton
•Took part in the play “Peter Pan;” performed at The Butts Theatre in Coventry
•Played a part in the play “Bugsy Malone” at the Butts Theatre in Coventry
•Performed in 6 carnivals; 1 of which was in London, 2 in Kendal and the other 3 were in Coventry
•Took part in a performance called “Ostara;” telling the story of the history of Far Gosford street in Coventry. The performance was done on Far Gosford street itself
•Part of the creation of a new theatre company “Tilted Theatre Company,” touring in London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Birmingham and Evesham in February 2011

Work Experience:
2008 Grange Farm Primary school- Duties involved:
Looking after children from reception to year 6, helping them with their work and playing with them during break times.


2008-2009 Prichard’s Dental Practise – Duties involved:
Cleaning the establishment: sweeping and mopping the floors, vacuuming the carpets, washing up in both kitchens, cleaning the toilets, polishing the wooden surfaces, cleaning the sinks in all the surgeries and tidying each of the rooms.


Current Status:
I am currently a first year student at Stratford-upon-Avon College on the course ‘BTEC national Diploma Performing Arts- Acting,’ and will be beginning my second year in September. I aspire to become a successful actress, as I have had a passion for acting since I was very young.

Interests & Hobbies

My main interest is acting. I am currently doing a full time acting course in college and every week I attend a performance group called ‘Highly Sprung.’ I also enjoy singing and physical theatre; something I have been doing for over three years. I have a very active social life in which I socialise with my friends and enjoy trips to theatres and cinemas. I take pleasure in walking my dog and spending time with my family.
