I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the main presenters and hosts during my time as a Redcoat entertainer at Butlins. I would host events in the Skyline and other venues across the resort. I would often DJ in evening venuses and host other day time entertainment during the resorts "adult weekend" breaks out of season when most other staff went home for holidays.
Last summer my best friend and I managed and coordinated "miss reading" - an official heat to Miss England and I presented the finale seamlessly, with many people asking which TV channel I normally work for! (Very flattering and encouraging for me as this is the job route I would love to go down)

Since the age of 18 I have worked closely with a highly regarded photographer and done many promotional shoots with him. I have accompanied him at various photographic fayers and events and have been a standing model for British Institute of Professional Photograhers tuition courses.
I was a top 10 finalist in 2009 for Miss Bedfordshire- and official heat to Miss England.

I have always been musical and at school played the violin up to County Youth Orchestra level. I was known for my singing at school and always had solo vocal parts in productions. At college i was the lead singer in our singing module show and at Butlins sang solos and group pieces in many productions. Currently I sing in a local acoustic music duo.

I studied a BTEC National Diploma in Dance at college, achieveing Triple Distinction award.
Ballet was always my main passion and around my studies at college took this genre very seriously studiny up to Grade 8 RAD and semi professional non-sylabis classes. I am able to dance gracefully and capably on Pointe.
I excelled at contemporary dance whist at college and now still enjoy salsa dancing. I am a recent convert to Burleque dancing and have been asked in my classes if I do it as a profession.

I worked as a Redcoat Entertainer at Butlins in 2006. As a Redcoat my duties were widely varied but always based around guests and friendly, enthusiastic interaction with them at all times. Other duties included performing, hosting shows and entertainment, and DJ-ing in evening entertainment venues. I worked long hours on low pay in a very intense environment but loved every minute, and class this job as the biggest learning experience of my career.

General Experience

I have worked in various fields, mainily within in the retail and property sectors up to management levels but performance and presenting has always been my passion.

Qualifications & Training

I studied a BTEC Dance at college ans receieved a Triple Distinction qualification for this course. I worked in a sports shop whislt at college to fund other dance classes and did up to an additional 8 dances classes- mainly in classical ballet at professional level- to improve my technique and push myself further with this.
At the time of leaving my extra ciricular dance classes (before moving away to commit to the Redcoat job) I was studying Royal Acadamy of Dancing Grade 8 classes.

I go to salsa classes in my own time but have recently stared Burleque dancing- a genre I thoroughly enjoy and am excelling at.

Interests & Hobbies

As well as dance and theatre I love fashion and clothes- in the past two years I have set up my own on-line fashion boutique selling women's wear and accessories, which, now established can be run in my own time alongside my full time career. I am interested interior design, wildlife and am devoted to my rescue cats.
