Are you a multi-talented musician looking for a new role where you can teach and perform on a daily basis? If so, we would like to hear from you! We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring Rock Choir Leader to take over existing choirs in or near York & Harrogate. You will be joining the UK’s largest and most popular contemporary choir, with over 25000 members led by musicians like you in over 300 local communities nationwide.

Applicants should have very competent piano and vocal skills and a charismatic and energetic personality. There is no need to have led choirs before but commitment and self-motivation is paramount. The role is a fulfilling one, with the chance to change people's lives through our music, performance and teaching.

Our Leaders teach 3 or 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!

You also have the chance for career development in specialist areas once you are settled as a choir leader.

Access to a car (daily) is a necessity and a PA system will be needed to accompany the role.

If you can't see past your summer schedule or your end of year exams do apply now as training will take place after these commitments with the aim of leading your choirs from this September. We will also contribute towards your travel expenses for the interview.
