Are you a multi-talented musician looking for a new role where you can teach and perform on a daily basis? If so, we would like to hear from you! We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring Rock Choir Leader to take over existing choirs in or near Battle, Hastings, Tenterden & Rye. You will be joining the UK’s largest and most popular contemporary choir, with nearly 25000 members led by musicians like you in over 300 local communities nationwide.
As a Rock Choir Leader, you will be fully trained for the role and will need a high standard of piano and vocal skills (Equivalent to ABRSM grade 5). You will also need a positive and energetic approach to work and a caring, happy and charismatic personality.
Our Leaders teach 3 or 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!
You also have the chance for career development in specialist areas once you are settled as a choir leader.

You will need a car, a keyboard and PA system.

Successful applicants will be invited for interview and audition via Zoom, in Birmingham or Rock Choir HQ in Farnham. Please note that Rock Choir will make a contribution to your travel expenses to HQ if invited for interview.
