Are you a versatile and creative musician looking for a new career in teaching and performing? We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring musician to train as one of our unique Choir Leaders to take over existing choirs in Cambridge, Huntingdon & St Neots. Exciting and life-affirming, We are looking for new talent to join the existing team to lead and inspire communities across the UK. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK offering a non-audition, inclusive amateur singing experience. Now, with 25000 members and a team of 100 dedicated individuals, it has celebrated 10 years of life-changing experiences, winning numerous awards for its standards of excellence and dedication to communities and charities country-wide.
Applicants should have very competent piano and vocal skills and a charismatic and energetic personality. There is no need to have led choirs before but commitment and self-motivation is paramount. The role is a fulfilling one, with the chance to change people's lives through our music, performance and teaching.
Our Leaders teach a minimum of 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!
You will need a driving licence, your own car, a keyboard and PA system.

Successful applicants will be invited for interview and audition via Zoom, in Birmingham or Rock Choir HQ in Farnham. Please note that Rock Choir will make a contribution to your travel expenses to HQ if invited for interview.
