I am forming a band of three or four vocalists (age/gender no problem) to form a variety show with music from the 50’s up to current music, i.e Frankie Valli, Showaddywaddy, Elton John, Meatloaf, Bucks Fizz, Abba, Queen etc etc.

If you are already a tribute to a band/group then great. I sing solo, lead, harmonies and play a bit of bass guitar. I am based in Liskeard but anywhere in the south west is OK by me.

The band will perform to holiday camps, theatres and playhouses. It will be a professional outfit complete with costumes changes, dance routines, singing to backing tracks and playing live music. There will also be backdrops and stage props with professional lighting. It is feasible that band members will earn £150+ each per gig playing to audiences of 300 plus.

To start with, gigs will be on Fridays and/or Saturdays but in time this may stretch to Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. You must be able to sing harmonies. You will need to be able to sing solo with or without the band backing you. It would be ideal if there were a guitar and keyboard player.

I expect the rehearsals to take 3-6 months of hard work and we should be looking at booking venues from February March next year. Call Alan on 07967 211816 or send a message.
