Leading phone company are joining forces with the UK’s hottest talent to give people with a passion for film, photography, music, and food, the opportunity of a lifetime. ‘Launching People’ will see award-winning actor Idris Elba, portrait and fashion photographer Rankin, singer-songwriter Paloma Faith, and pop-up chef and food writer Gizzi Erskine, search for undiscovered British talent. They’ll act as mentors to help budding filmmakers, innovative picture takers, musical game changers, and food lovers launch their brilliant ideas.

Mentors will select four candidates with whom they’ll work one-to-one. The chosen protégés will spend 2-3 weeks together, working closely with their mentors on their personal projects in a house fully furnished with Samsung’s latest technology, building towards a grand launch and making their ideas and ambitions a reality

Paloma is looking for something that we’ve not seen in a British artist before. It’s important that the person has something innovative to offer, something that defies genre, and goes beyond just singing - this person must have some ambitious ideas.
