Gravesend Talent Search is an exciting talent competiton in search for solo artists, bands and variety acts based in the East Kent Area. Whether you are a group of singers or in a band, a soloist or a variety act including dancing or a theatrical performance, then this is your opportunity to shine and win some of the fantastic prizes we have up for grabs!
Register , audition and compete, and you will be given amazing opportunities to not only develop your performance skills and personal ability, but to expose your talent.
The auditions will be commencing on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th September 2013 following through till November 3rd 2013. The competition is open for all to apply and will be based in a number of areas within East Kent.
There are 2000 places and these will be filled up very quickly so in order to guarantee and secure your spot in the competition you must register and apply quickly !
The talent Competition is open to all ages giving everyone the chance to show what they have to offer.
The competition will be split into three categories;
Under 13’s, (minimum age 9 years)
Teens, (13 to19 years of age)
Seniors, (anyone from the ages of 20 to 100)
The winner will be crowned Gravesend Talent Competetion\'s winner in front of the large audience and the celeberity guests whilst it being covered on SHOWCASE TV on Sky.
The winner of the Vocalists & Groups Category will be offered a recording deal that means that they will be entitled to have one album produced, recorded and released on iTunes and You Tube. With the final mastered album pressed and available for purchase or download. (Funded By Academy Studios).
The Losing Finalist/s will be presented with a cheque for £2,000 to go towards the purchase of equipment and instruments.
The winner of the Soloists Category will be offered a scholarship of one year at the Royal Academy Of Music and an album recorded and produced for release on iTunes and You Tube. (Funded by Academy Studios and The Amaryllis Charitable Trust).
The Losing Finalist/s will be presented with a cheque for £2,000 to go towards the purchase of equipment and instruments.
The winner of the performance & Variety Category will be offered a scholarship of one year at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art and introduction to Show business management agents at the end of their course. (Sponsored by The Amaryllis Charitable Trust /The Heritage Foundation).
The Losing Finalist/s will be presented with a cheque for £2,000.
Both the winner and finalist will perform at the Grand Finale Dinner.
