Nigerian voice over artist. Do not apply if you were not born/raised in Nigeria!
Job ID: 6105
Job Specifics:
Details:
This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting public history project exploring a fascinating part of London.
I need an experienced and mature Nigerian voice over artist to record a monologue about West African food and one half of a short dialogue set in a market. 5 – 10 minute script.
Please only apply if you were born/grew up in Nigeria and are over 40 years of age. No phony accents please!
This is a self-funded project with a small budget. I am treating it as a pilot for a larger project for which I will apply for substantial grant funding. Therefore, I am offering to match equity minimum rates for an approx 90 minute recording session (educational, non broadcast use). I expect you to have learned the script before the recording session and to sound incredibly natural. The brief is to convince the listener that you are relating your own memories and experiences. Therefore you can adapt the script (within reason) to your own manner of speaking.
Please send me short samples of non-corporate work which demonstrate your ability to perform in this manner.
Please specify whether you have your own studio recording facilities. If you do not have your own recording facilities, you must be available to travel to my South London office space.
Please also specify your availability on the following dates:
27th feb
1st March
6th March
8th March
9th March
