Copa90 is seeking a Presenter to host football culture based content on our channel.

DESCRIPTION

Copa90 is looking for an experienced, dynamic and engaged presenter to host and broadcast stories on Football Culture across a variety of Copa90 content platforms, and to further act as a ‘face’ of the channel to 3rd party investors and potential brand collaborators.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Appearing as an on-screen presenter for Copa90 Football Culture based content.
• Creating social content and conversation; engaging with audiences across all Copa90 platforms as well as your own.
• Conducting prepared and spontaneous interviews.
• Staying well informed on world football issues and developments with Copa90 brand positioning in mind and be a part of iterating those stories for content production.
• Being presentable, punctual and prepared and able to work full time on Copa90.
• Learning scripts and questions ahead of time to ensure preparedness for shoots.
• Interpreting and delivering scripts to communicate effectively with a football fan audience.
• Participating with, and assisting the team, to achieve overall business growth goals and targets.
• Using knowledge and involvement in research/development stages of production to create compelling and informed narratives on football culture.
• Bringing energy and enthusiasm to activate and ignite the resulting content with the audience.
• Establishing and building relationships with football influencers, bloggers, journalists and personalities to coordinate potential collaborations and to be a ‘voice’ for Copa90 within the sports media arena.
• Helping to generate ideas and content formats for future films and social content.
• A ‘face of the brand’ appearing on behalf of Copa90/Bigballs Media at industry events, promotional events and B2B meetings with potential branded content partners and investors.

REQUIREMENTS
• Experience presenting content similar to Copa90 on a football based YouTube channel.
• Proven experience working with and connecting to football ‘ultras’ fan groups across Europe and around the world.
• In-depth knowledge of football related stories, specifically fan focused topics and issues.
• Experience presenting in the football culture environment – Copa90 broadcast the stories outside of the 90 minutes – what happens on the pitch is secondary to that.
• Experience working in new media and content strategy – specifically at ‘content marketing’ brands.
• A growing and trusted presence within the football fan community/audience.
• Proven experience and strong improvisational ability in the ‘heat’ of fan moments and atmospheres.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure in highly charged settings.
• Ability to articulate, present and act as a voice for the disruptive sports media brand Copa90.
• Proven experience presenting from major footballing cities and grounds around the world.
• Proven experience working with and telling the stories of fans and fan groups at major football events and tournaments e.g. Derby Days, UEFA Champions League matches, FIFA World Cup and Confederations Cup.
• Proven experience conducting interviews.
• Experience participating in discussions with football experts and journalists.
• Desire to spearhead a movement of the new wave/next generation of football reporters, content makers and storytellers made up of fans around the world.
• Hardworking, focused individuals with a proactive entrepreneurial approach.
