Casting for a new TV series about scrap cars. The idea of the show is to follow two teams of mechanics as they buy a scrap car, strip off parts, then sell the parts before the car is crushed for recycling.

We need 2 expert mechanics and 2 assistants. We are looking for passionate, larger than life characters, who are knowledgeable about cars, confident on screen, hard working, fun and competitive. You will need to be available from October/November 2011 to February 2012.

If you are able to strip a car down to its last nut and bolt, talk expertly and easily while you are doing it, and think you'll be great on TV, please provide a brief (up to 500 words or so) outline of your experience, and why you think you have what it takes to be a TV mechanic. If you can send a link to a simple video ((like a camera phone video) of you presenting to the camera, that would great.
