PERHAPS YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO A HAIRDRESSER LET ALONE A BEAUTICIAN!

My name is Katy McClellan, I’m a Producer at a television production company called Little Gem- we are looking to speak with people for a new TV series development.

We are currently developing a new series that will feature people who have never been to the dentist or doctor. It might be because they need major dental work but have a fear of the dentist, or they are too busy to see the doctor, or don’t have any symptoms so don’t see the need or that they simply don’t believe in Western medicine.
Are you worried about someone who refuses to see a medical professional?

We are also looking to speak with people who are in desperate need of a hygiene or beauty overhaul- do you know someone who never goes to the hairdressers? Perhaps they have matted hair, or long locks or unwanted facial or body hair that they refuse to address.

If the show goes on to be commissioned we will feature their full examination, the change in how they see their health issues and the results of their treatment. From these stories, we hope that the audience will take home important lessons – including what you should never ignore and what you can do to maintain general good health.

At this stage all we are hoping to do is speak to people in confidence about the issues they are facing.

The ideal candidate would be 18+ and never been to the dentist or doctor in their adult life (or for over 10 years) - whether they are 19 or 90 we want to hear from them!
