I am currently researching an item for a Sky1 series. We are looking to speak to older couples over the age of 70 who might be able to impart their wisdom on us; in particular people who have lived a life and having something to say, much like some of your amazing older members.

Increasingly, we are a society where young people, outside their own family, have little or no meaningful contact with the older generation anymore.
Historically, our elders were sought out as sources of wisdom, advice and life experience. But today’s Britain is becoming so age-segregated, that this is no longer the case and as a result both generations are losing out on a valuable relationship.

The elderly have a lot to say and no-ones been listening! Until nowâ€.
CASTING:
We are looking to cast this with very real and entertaining characters from a broad section, with interesting backgrounds and different outlooks on life. The tone should be heart-warming, informative but most importantly funny and full of hope.


I think this is a really exciting item and I am excited at the idea of hearing some fun stories and seeing what there is to learn. Do you know of any members who would be up for imparting some wisdom onto us I would love to speak to people who have not done a lot of TV and want to share their wisdom.
