CHOREOGRAPHERS NEEDED!!
We need choreographers based in Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham, and Newcastle, to take part in a very exciting choreography and dance project this summer, across these major UK cities, culminating in a London showcase.
Our street dance performance group, Club Mob (whoisclubmob.co.uk/choreography-project), is looking to commission 5 works of choreography across the UK, from the above cities. The job involves;
1. Choreographing one song in a street style, but incorporating another style of dance also (styles given out depending on Choreographer’s interests/experience).
2. Teaching it to our group of professional dancers, and help us stage a surprise, ‘flash-mob’ performance in your city centre.
3. Teaching a one hour free workshop for kids/adults to learn the routine in your area to give back to the community.
We will be showcasing your work next year in London at a high profile event amongst the other choreographers in the project, travel down to event provided. You can also choose to perform it with us if you would like, but that’s not a requirement.
