Job Specifics:

Details:
We require two enthusiastic actors and no previous acting experience is require. You must have quite a relaxed schedule for filming. You will be working with two trained Arts Ed Actors and Antony Elvin, known for work on Julia Davis' Hunderby and The Mighty Boosh.
Our film tells the story of Eli, a man in his late 40's, a man lacking purpose and most importantly a man suffering from a brain haemorrhage.
Eli once had everything a man could dream off, a young, beautiful, healthy family, high prospects in a writing career and the whimsical happy nature of any young joyful person. But his, and his families life is turned upside when his young son died in a terrible accident.
His ailment is thought to be caused by the stress of his son's death. Today, Eli is attempting to put what is left of his life back together. He is struggling to write a book about his son's death, reach his introverted daughter and rekindle his relationship with his wife.
It is a story of loss, love and above all things hope. Because without hope in our lives, what chance is there of happiness.
The Publisher's role is intrinsic to the film as he is the catalyst for the downfall of Eli and his wife's relationship. Comedy must come easily to the actors, and you must be willing to improvise. English actors are welcome as long as an american accent can be held.
The wife's role is one of the most layered in the film. She exhibits herself in the 'mutton dressed up as a lamb' type of way, completely contrasting to Eli's. She has to be naturally beautiful but under her harsh outer shell, is a broken woman mourning the death of her only son.
