We are now inviting applicants to audition for Scholarships 2014

Both the Samantha Womack Musical Theatre Scholarship and the Ben Richards Musical Theatre Scholarship winners will receive a place on the next course intake beginning September 2014 and the winners fees will be paid for the full 3 year course. There are also various part scholarships available.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of talent and potential for a career in the Performing Arts. Previous training and/or experience is desirable, but not essential. Applicants must be over 16 years of age and be proficient in their main discipline and show a potential to be nurtured in the other two disciplines.

We would like to invite you to attend on Sunday 6th April 2014 from 9.00am – 4.00pm
The day will consist of your private audition along with master classes in Dance (Jazz), Singing (Musical Theatre) and Acting.


During the day you will be photographed and interviewed by ‘The Stage’ newspaper for their article on the scholarship day.

The successful Scholarship winners will be notified as soon as possible after the scholarship day and any scholarships awarded are for the full three years of training. Our scholarship auditions are for two full scholarship placements on our 3 year Musical Theatre Professional Diploma course. This culminates in either A.T.C.L. (1st level degree equivalent – Level 4) or L.T.C.L. (2nd level degree equivalent – Level 6). We also run a 6th form college offering Btec Level 3 extended diploma course which runs in conjunction with this course and offers fully funded placements in conjunction with Buxton and Leek College and The University of Derby.

The lucky recipients of the Ben Richards and Samantha Womack Scholarships ran in conjunction with The Stage newspaper offers the prestige of exposure in The Stage newspaper, photo shoot courtesy of The Stage newspaper, invitation to The Stage annual New Years party with special celebrity appearances and of course personal nurturing by our patrons Ben and Samantha.
