ABOUT THE FILM:
“Ruined” is a teenage drama about a boy’s psychological journey from the day he is abused to when he finally attempts to seek justice in order to get his life back.

Logline: A 17 year old boy gets abused on his way home after school one evening. Attempting to seek justice things go awry and the boy is left forever hunted.

Intention and message: With this film we want to make people acknowledge the male-on-male abuse we have in our society. The message is to stop stigmatising male-on-male abuse.

Format: This is a 15 minute short drama to be sent to festivals as well broadcasted on internet.

FILMING DATES: We are filming 24th-26th Feb in London. The 24th is an evening from around 5pm-9:30pm. 25th and 26th are whole days.

CASTING: We are to have the casting Thursday 10th and Friday 11th in London.

SALARY: Unfortunately since this is a low budget film we can only offer between £ 20-50 for a shooting day depending on the role. On top of that we cover your travel expenses and meals.

CHARACTERS TO FILL
MIKE
Mike is one of the lead characters. He is; A male between 14-25 years. Black skinny/slim teen up to 178 cm. He is born in UK so British accent preferred.

For this role we offer £ 50 a shooting day + Expenses.

JOHN
John is the 2nd lead character. He is; A male between 30-60 years. Caucasian and muscular/heavy built. He is born in UK so British accent preferred.

For this role we offer £ 50 a shooting day + Expenses.

BOY 1

BOY 1 is one of our 3 supporting characters. He is; A male between
18-25 years. Any race, any accent but proper english. Should be over 170 cm.

For this role we offer £ 30 a shooting day + Expenses. Needed for only the 24th Feb.

BOY 2

BOY 2 is the second of our 3 supporting characters. He is; A male between 14-25 years. Any race, any accent but proper english.

For this role we offer £ 30 a shooting day + Expenses. Needed for only the 24th Feb.

BOY 3

BOY 3 is our third and last supporting character. He is; A male between 14-25 years. Caucasian and skinny/slim. Up to 175cm. Any accent but proper english.

A black female between 25-50 with a UK accent or UK born.
VOICE 2

A black male between 30-50 with a UK accent or UK born. Although not essential, it is good if you can drift into the African american accent as well.

VOICE 3
A black male between 18-27 with a UK accent or UK born. Although not essential, it is good if you can drift into the African american accent as well.

VOICE 4
Male between 30-50 with a UK accent or UK born. Any race.

MODELS WE LOOKING FOR FOR A PHOTO SHOOT
In the film we see a family photo of one of the main characters.
For that we are looking for;
Boy between 6-10 years
2 teen girls 14-22 years
A woman 30-50 years.

We only need the models for 20 minutes any time before 22nd Feb. For this we can only cover your travel expenses.

EXTRAS NEEDED

We are looking for 15 extras between 14-25 years for a festival short film. Needed evening of 24th Feb at 5pm--9:30pm.
