We are The National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

Are you ho-ho-hoping for a part time role this winter? Then look no further as we are recruiting for the jolliest role there is! Christmas is a magical time of year and with Santa at the heart of the experience, the National SEA LIFE Centre is on the hunt for our very own representative! From the moment you step into the red suit you’ll be totally immersed in the experience, asking children about their wish list and telling stories about the North Pole. You’ll certainly be asked lots of questions and we look forward to seeing you keeping the magic of Christmas real!

Father Christmas is a busy man! We require him to be available when the contract starts from 23rd November to 23rd December. Based upon 25 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7 and due to the 7 day nature of the business this will include weekends and bank holidays as and when required.

Training is provided in our Grotto with our elves and a full costume will be provided.

SEA LIFE Birmingham takes its visitors on a fascinating tour of freshwater and marine life, inspiring and educating the next generation to love and conserve our planet’s aquatic creatures. Witness its one-million-litre ocean tank that houses green sea turtles, blacktip reef sharks and tropical reef fish with a fully transparent underwater tunnel. Dive in and witness the fascinating Jellyfish up close at our Jelly Invaders exhibit. The centre is also home to a colony of cheeky Gentoo penguins. We are a living, breathing, interactive habitat that's all about immersing visitors in the experience. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about the threats facing marine life and what you can do to help as you explore with us.
