Young Theatre Director looks for young talented, creative people with passion for theatre, art and culture.
We are looking for actors and actresses in order to organize an important charity event in 2016 which will consist in a play for fund raising in a London theatre (the theatre isn\'t decided yet). Could be better if candidates have previous theatre experience.
Candidates age : 19 - 28 males or females.
Could be also nice if the candidates have a little knowledge in Romantic and Gothic cultures (not for example just in modern music or fashion but in Literature, Poetry, Art). Everything should be free, no costs since should be a volunteer activity for a charity or fund raising purpose. Casting will be confirmed when we will receive a good number of requests. The play is a TRAGEDY IN 3 ACTS. At the moment all the main characters still vacant. There are 4 main characters : 3 females and 1 male plus a number of minor characters and walkons.
We can already specify that for one of the female main roles we look for an androgynous girl (necessity of the script).The script is very important and the candidates should have a good knowledge of grammar, vocabulary etc...etc... we will look very carefully to emails received by uni\'s students or students from theatre / cinema / fashion sectors.
We know it\'s a volunteer activity but the event could be very interesting for the city of London since it\'s the first play focused on these themes derived from a new romantic - gothic concept. Further infos will be given by email.
