[FATHER: - : male] Voice acting only, deep, tired, aggressive voice. Here is a short plot summary - The central theme of the film is identity. Begin with a young boy dressed in a school uniform leaving his house. The audience is made aware by his timid body language that he is a loner. He is a nameless character, without a sense of identity (in the script referred to as BOY). He sits on a bench alone cradling his arm. He finds a lost dog poster. This stirs up a response in him. He looks around parks, roads and alleys for the dog. He is noticed by an older boy and is intimidated so turns to walk off. Insulted the other boy, BEN, catches up and threatens him. BEN noticing how helpless the BOY really is pities him, clear he would not hurt him. They talk. BEN is also confused about his identity and joins the BOY looking for the dog. They bond. BEN is being rough with BOY and causes him cry out in pain as he hits him in the arm. They fight and the BOY heads home distraught. Final shot composed exactly the same as the first. As the BOY opens the door we hear off screen a brutal argument revealing he is from an abusive home. SOUND door slam. Cut to black.
