We are a small production team from West London participating in a competition called 'Shoot Vertical'. The rules are few and simple, there is only one: shoot vertical. This means that rather than the usual film format we will shoot in a format more like a phone screen. This maybe an interesting contribution to any actor's showreel. The three winners of this competition will receive â‚18,000 and the film will be showcased in CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2016. A real chance for excellent exposure!

Our brief is to communicate that your everyday moments can be transformed into something extraordinary. These indefinable, incomparable and meaningful moments that add that little something, that uplift your everyday.

Actors interested in applying will have a Skype session or brief meeting with the producer due to take place as soon as possible. Filming will then take place over a course of 2-3 days between 15 - 20th March 2016. The deadline for this film is April 10th 2016.

A daughter of a Chinese takeaway owner, ambitious to see the world and all it's beauty but is stifled with expectations of keeping the family business running. Growing up knowing the struggles of being financially disadvantaged she has learned to become strong-willed and independent. Despite searching relentlessly for ways out of her ordinary life she is blind to the what is beautiful exactly where she is.

A wealthy young man who is, although privileged, deprived of the affections of his parents. Living high above in a luxurious apartment high-rise in Canary Wharf he is comfortable but lonely.
