Casting Brief


Ref: A test TV campaign


Shoot date: 23rd July 2013
Shoot Location: Manchester Media City


We are shooting a commercial, which will consist of a cast singing a re-written lyric to the tune of That’s Amore and a small amount of choreography.

We would like to receive a video from each of the actors in front of a camera singing the song ‘That’s Amore’ before the shoot date. We would like the video to be shot inside showing a medium shot of the males face and torso.

The men in the advert are supposed to look like ordinary men driving around Manchester in a car/van. Therefore we would like a range of different men to suit the brief wearing working clothes.

• A wide age group – 25 – 55 year old

• Male

• We’d like to see a mixture of heights and ethnicities, actors of all shapes and sizes.

• We do not need any professional actors or singers we would like them to look like an average workingman.

• The actor doesn’t need to learn the song and doesn’t need be able to sing.

Can you please submit a short video casting singing the following lyrics in the style of the ‘That’s Amore’ Tune.

The cast will be paid £100 for four hours on either of the dates stated above and the payment will be given on the day in cash/chcque.
